Third Craft -- 12 Days of Christmas Crafts

For the third craft, I'm showing you two ways to take a brown paper bag and turn it into a pretty gift bag using earth-friendly materials.

For the first idea, you're going to need re-used ribbon (ribbon that came off a present that you got before). Take one long strip of the ribbon and glue it across the front of the bag. Tie a bow using the remainder (or use a bow that was already tied) and glue it onto the ribbon to seem as if it was tied there in the first place. Here's what it should look like:

For the second idea you will need a re-used holiday card (one you already received). Cut the front of the card from the back and glue or tape it to the front of the paper bag. You can use this also to cover a brand on the front of the bag, or just to make it look prettier.
Here's what it should look like:

You can use these methods of transforming a plain brown paper bag into a beautiful gift bag when you're gifting to someone who cares a little bit more about what the present looks like than how eco-friendly it is. If you use these to gift to someone, please comment and even share a picture if you want. I hope this inspires you to have a crafty Christmas!
